Karaoke Maker

Upload a song and keep the music so you can sing the lead yourself. The instrumental is the backing track. The vocal stem is only there if you want to check a melody.

You get two MP3s from the same timeline. There are no lyrics on screen, no key change, and no separate drum or guitar files.

Free: up to 2 minutes, 3 splits a day per IP. The first successful split today includes both downloads. Uploaded files and results are available for approximately one hour. Processing an expired file again is a new job and uses minutes again.

Only upload audio you own or have permission to process. Temporary files are deleted after about 1 hour.

A backing track you can sing over

A karaoke maker, on this site, means one job: take a finished song and hand back an instrumental you can sing with. The lead voice is pulled down so your own voice has room. Timing stays locked to the original, which matters when you are learning an entrance or running a chorus again.

That is a narrower promise than a karaoke video. Nothing here writes lyrics, highlights the current line, or bounces a video with captions. You sing from memory, from a lyric sheet, or from whatever player you open next to the MP3.

Not the stem splitter, and not the vocal isolator

The stem splitter is the engineering view of the same separation: two aligned files, and a clear statement that drums and bass are not exported on their own. Use that page when you are deciding whether a stereo master is enough to start a session.

The vocal isolator is the opposite priority. You go there when the singer is the file you want to keep. Here the instrumental is the point, and the vocal stem is a reference you can mute. The vocal isolator is that vocal-first job.

Two MP3s, then you are on your own

Preview both results in the browser. Download the backing track for practice. Keep the vocal file only if you still need to hear the original phrasing. Free uploads are MP3, WAV, M4A, or AAC, up to 50 MB and 2 minutes, with 3 splits a day per IP. Files are temporary and scheduled to delete after about one hour.

The key and the tempo do not change. If the song sits too low, shift it after the download. If you need a counted-in lyric video, build that somewhere else. Only upload audio you own or have permission to process.

Karaoke maker FAQ

Does this add lyrics or a scrolling karaoke video?

No. This page does not sync lyrics, print words on screen, or export a karaoke video. It only separates the song so you can sing over the instrumental. If you want bouncing captions, that belongs in a karaoke video maker or the player you already use.

Can I change the key or the speed?

No. There is no pitch shift and no tempo change. If you need the song higher or lower so it sits in your range, do that in a player or DAW after you download the instrumental. This tool leaves the original key and speed alone.

What files do I actually get?

A successful split returns two MP3s: a vocal stem and an instrumental stem. The instrumental is the backing track. Drums, bass, guitars, keys, and effects stay grouped in that one file. It is not a multitrack session, and it is not a karaoke project with a guide vocal mixed back in.

Can I publish the backing track?

Removing the vocal does not give you a license. The instrumental is still derived from the original recording and composition. A private rehearsal is a different question from a public upload, a stream, or a paid performance. Clear the rights before you publish.
